Combining his love for the outdoors and entrepreneurial talents Ben has turned his passion as an outdoor lake enthusiast into his position as CEO of All Out Rec.

Growing up "on the lake", Ben developed an unmatched understanding of lakeshore living, which has become his expertise. His deep knowledge and experience benefit both new and seasoned lakeshore owners.

Early on, Ben's remarkable attention to detail and a strong work ethic were evident when he launched his first business—a neighborhood lawn care service—before turning 18. Today, these qualities are integral to his leadership at All Out Rec, where he pioneers industry standards and fosters meaningful relationships.

Ben enjoys unwinding at his family cabin on Island Lake near Duluth. Here, he spends cherished moments with his family, indulging in his love for boating, fishing and water sports.

Whether it's finding the perfect lakeshore property or equipping it, Ben and the All Out Rec team are here to help—always with a friendly smile and expert advice.

Justin Thompson

Co-Founder

With 15 years of dealership management experience in the RV and Marine industry, Justin Thompson is the driving force behind All Out Rec—a trusted name for outdoor enthusiasts. Justin has a knack for working closely with customers to help them achieve their goals, and his genuine passion for customer satisfaction has earned him recognition for exceptional service and high customer retention rates.

Justin takes immense pride in his work and sets high expectations for himself and his team. His leadership has not only elevated the company's reputation but also led to record sales and revenue growth, with innovative sales and marketing strategies becoming industry best practices.

Outside of work, Justin is an avid lover of the outdoors. He enjoys fishing, playing golf, and spending quality time with his family at the beach on Lake Superior. His personal experiences in these activities fuel his understanding of the needs and desires of his customers, making him a knowledgeable friend who shares their passion for outdoor and lake life.

Darrell Patterson

Sales Specialist

Darrell has over 20 years of experience in the dock and boat lift industry in sales, installation, and maintenance. He understands that lakefront properties are like snowflakes, no two are alike, and can guide you through the process of determining what waterfront equipment best meets your needs and is suitable for your lake property.

When he's not helping clients, Darrell can be found enjoying the great outdoors. An avid trail enthusiast, he spends his free time mountain biking, trail running, and cross-country skiing across the tri-state area. He even participates in races for each of these activities annually, including the challenging American Birkebeiner.
